2018 Suncorp ESSI Money Challenge Winners

With 4,580 students from 197 schools competing in this year’s Suncorp ESSI Money Challenge, 2018 was bigger and more competitive than ever before. Well done to everyone who participated, we hope you learnt some valuable money lessons. For the first time in ESSI Money Challenge history, we are happy to award first, second and third prizes for both age categories (12-15 and 16-18) thanks to the generous support of our presenting partner, Suncorp!

And the 2018 winners are:

16 – 18 age category
Nick, Brisbane Grammar School with a net result of $48,072
Digby, Brisbane Grammar School with a net result of $45,701
Sam, Brisbane Grammar School with a net result of $44,735

12 – 15 age category
Sophie, Meriden School NSW with a net result of $41,811
Jay, Australian Christian College QLD with a net result of $41,806
Morgan, Cannon Hill Anglican College QLD with a net result of $41,566

The first place winners get a $1500 cash deposit into a personal Suncorp Bank Kids Savings Account and a bonus cash deposit of $1500 for their schools. Second prize gets $1000 cash deposit into a personal Suncorp Bank Kids Savings Account and third prize is $750 cash deposit into a personal Suncorp Bank Kids Savings Account.
