Supporting Educators is our thing!

FBF recently attended the Economics and Business Educators Conference in NSW. Our National Program Manager, Damian, presented to a fantastic group of educators, demonstrating how to access and maximize the benefits of our resources.

The session received a warm reception, with over 90% of teachers in attendance expressing their belief in the usefulness of our resources in the classroom. We were thrilled by this positive feedback and always strive to go above and beyond for educators, especially when they find value in what we offer and discover new ways to simplify their lives!

Going the extra mile

After the presentation, Damian stayed back to mingle with the teachers. During a casual lunch conversation about our work, one teacher invited another to join. Before he knew it, seven people were engaged in an impromptu mini session, delving into all things FBF!

The group enjoyed an informal presentation of our resources, a step-by-step guide on accessing them, an overview of their alignment with the curriculum, and an opportunity to ask questions.

Conferences provide us with incredible opportunities to share our resources and introduce innovative ideas, and this occasion was no exception. We are continually inspired by the passion and thirst for knowledge exhibited by educators, even amidst their busy schedules.

For those who couldn’t attend the conference or our session, here are a few important reminders:

Don’t just take our word for it

But don’t just take our word for it. After the session, a teacher approached Damian with excitement, sharing that he was about to teach a personal finance unit to a group of year 9 boys. Upon discovering what we had to offer and how he could integrate it into his lessons, he was ecstatic. He described our resources as a true game changer!
